This game really needs dynamic lighting! Can you imagine how good those evening games would be transistioning into darkness. On that note, are there any night games at all? or are they always at dusk. (That will suck if that is the case).

I can also say I hate the left stick stuff. I want full analog control over my speed but when I ease up on the stick my guy does some stupid stop move. Does any one else think the RB's are too slow in the backfield? They feel like they are running in quicksand.

Other then that, I have to say I was pleasantly suprised by the demo. The avoidance animations post play really make the game look much more natural. OSU did throw the bomb on me and complete it at my 15. Unfortunately, their WR (who had me beat by 10 yds) starting doing the same stupid stop move mentioned above and I was able to tackle him before he scored. Looked really strange seeing him back juking no one. Next play, I picked the ball off in the endzone and took it 104 yds for the score.

I still feel a little out of control on the field but haven't gotten the controls down yet either. Off to play a few more.

Pros:
No lag at the play call screen..thank god.
Like the new player models
Players with the jersey cut under the armpit are a nice touch
Gameplay feels real smooth, i really like the way i can strafe(LT) with the SS.
Lighting is beautiful
"Coach" players during timeout in last 2 minutes of halves. It would be great if this had more effect with the amount of coach prestige you build up in dynasty mode.

Cons:
Still absolutely ZERO amount of presentation before kickoff
Looking at the info provided for other game modes everything looks almost exactly the same. The snippet about practice regime in dynasty mode may be interesting. It's all about Online Dynasty this year anyways which is outstanding.

Just finished my first game....... I wasn't as impressed as some of you.

Ohio St (Me) 20 - LSU (CPU) 0.

CPU quarterback got picked twice, both by LBs. I failed to see this unstoppable force that some of you mentioned, known as the CPU QB. I'm hoping it's just the Varsity level, because in no way am I a great player, and well, the CPU still looks to be it's usual self.
