My only complaint is that I had two freezes and that happened quite a few times with last years version on the 360, I hope the ps3 version doesn't do the same.

It's standard practice for MS, they do this as a perk for the folks who fork over the cash for a Gold account. It will be available to Silver members in about a week or so.

If you really can't wait you can buy a 1 month Gold membership for $8-9 (I forget exactly how much). If you don't have a credit card, just go to Best Buy/Circuit City/Gamestop and buy a 1 month prepaid XBL Gold card.

Re: ***OFFICIAL NCAA 09 Demo Discussion & Impressions***

Love the player controls, still need some practice for me to get used to it, it didn't seem overdone at all.

my game had about 5 ints in it. mine were my fault as usual, but the CPU threw some WTF type throws like in '08. just hoping that its the difficulty.

the crowd didn't seem to ever get loud for me.

mascot game is comical. don't think i will play them in the full game though, unless I'm drunk or something.

I'm surprised no one(i don't think i saw anyone commit about it) that the roster for both teams were modified for the demo to make the team a little more even.

Only played a half before work, but it seemed to flow better than in the past. Wells had a sweet TD against me on a counter. As he countered back left and got around the corner, he shook of my LB, and then stiff armed my DB at the 10. After than he walked in to complete the 25 yd TD. Can't wait to get home and play some more, hopefully the final version is more enjoyable this year.

Re: ***OFFICIAL NCAA 09 Demo Discussion & Impressions***

Its going to take me some time to get used to the LB receiver(was RB in '08), the throw away on RB(was the right thumb stick in '08), and the new pump fake(was LB in '08). got a few penalties and a few INTs because of it, not to mention a few sacks where i tried to throw it away, but just pump faked instead.
