Madden NFL 09: Reasons to be Excited

Will Soistman checks in today with an article listing five reasons you should be excited about Madden NFL 09. What reasons did he give? Check em out here!

All great reasons to be excited for Madden I agree, I can't wait until August!!

Ok lets look at the big picture. after watching the videos i see THE SAME PLAYS FROM 1993!! can we make our own playbooks and play them online? the next thing is they havent fixed the blocking it still looks like a mess. where is the pocket look at the blocking it looks bad. I still see that you can run 50 yards back and chuck the ball 70 the other way. thats not real football. what about the online dashboards. i need more info on the person im playing to see if hes a cheater. the info i see isnt enough we need a vip system like 2k5 had. everything else looks good but I hope we can make up our own plays and use them online. now that would be sick.

fingers crossed. can't wait to see what new freezes and bugs there are to ruin franchise mode this year

As of right now though Hammond sounds stale, bland, and robotic. They'll probably have to redo his lines for 2010.

Just compare it with like Nessler and you'll see how far behind he is.

Collinsworth does sound good though thus far

What are you talking about there still isn't any blocking? If you watched the locomotion video when they're showing the difference with movement the pockets are much more realistic. I'm talking about the play where they end up sacking Grossman. There was like a 3 sec window to get the pass off. Which is how it is in real life. Watch it again and you can see everyone trying to blcok the open guy. As a matter of fact whoever was playing if they would have step up in the pocket they probably would have gotten the pass off. That is a huge improvement over the last games.
