Madden 09: Cris Collinsworth and Tom Hammond New Color Commentary Team

I'm not a fan of Collinsworth, but I know that this is a game and his lines will be scripted and unbiased.

I do not have a real desire to listen to either announcer. However, I would gladly accept them as announcers if they recorded more players names and sound bites. Nothing irritates me more than the announcer saying, "RB #34 is the star of this team..." Madden used to be good about this (around Madden 02) but they seem to have slacked off, go figure.

collinsworth is just OK, though I love Tommy Hammond as an announcer just because im so used to him from watchin my irish on NBC every saturday which he is the main announcer but.....how long has it been since he has called a NFL game? Last time I could recall is way back when NBC had the AFC package on Sunday afternoons(I could be wrong). Im just kinda curious why they would choose hammond over alot of other announcers that could have been available, guess maybe they think Collinsworth and Hammond are a good team and sound good together. But like someone said earlier in this thread....THANK GOD THERE IS NO GUMBAL'S INVOLVED IN THIS!!!
