It is good to see the PS3 version run smoothly.

The game looks really sped up, don't know if I like it. We'll see. As far as the crazy game play, I'll give EA the benefit of the doubt since it is on Freshman.

This will be a day one purchase day one as usual.

Being a Tennessee fan, here are things that I noticed.

Good:
1. They have our orange alternates.
2. It looks like the surrounding LED video scoreboard has been added.
3. PS3 version is nice and smooth

Bad:
1. They screwed up the orange alternates (not supposed to have white stripes on the pants) (picture).
2. Bad job picking impact players...Arian Foster and Eric Berry are musts. Demetrice Morley, Gerald Jones, and Rico McCoy are quality options for the third.
3. Tennessee is underrated at #19. That's not a big deal though.

UT Impact Players (from video):
1. LB Rico McCoy
2. DE Robert Ayers
3. ? [WR Lucas Taylor? (from Debut Trailer)]

Granted that the gameplay was on "Freshman" and it's hard to know anything without actually playing it, this game looked very similar to NCAA 08 with slightly better graphics and improved juking. Hopefully, the final retail version will have some "Wow!" to it.

Well the only thing I got from that video was that the new lighting system looks damn good. Otherwise I'll have to wait to see more, and rent it myself.

Not too impressed to be honest. Game looks good but seems like the same old stuff that we saw last year.

Was hard to get much of a read on the game from the video. I can't wait till we get actual gamer impressions.

One thing I never understood about the football games is that they never have a game speed slider. I think all other sports games have this. In NHL 08 particularly the slider makes a huge difference in the way the game plays in terms of arcade vs. sim.

You're right to some degree. APF2K8 had levels of speed (slow, normal, fast) and I believe some of the earlier 2K football games did as well. This would be helpful though.

Games looks pretty good to me. One thing I hope they kept in the game was the time change in a game. If it is a dusk game, I want it to be night by halftime or end of the game. That needs to stay.

The cheerleader celebrations looked pretty neat, with the flag waving and stuff.
