NCAA Football 09 Debut Trailer

Something strange I noticed in the trailer is that Oklahoma is shown wearing two different jerseys. Doesn't mean anything, but shows that the various clips were probably from different early stages of the game's development. The Utopia podcast also talked about the glitched out LB's, and also the vanishing helmet of the South Carolina player, just strange that EA would let stuff like that go in a trailer.

I think the Show guys had numbers or names in the wrong spots on alpha versions of their game for teams. This is pretty early. I'm not worried about some of that stuff. They just have to read this forum to determine what they need to fix before release. The Show developers did and I'm positive there are EA guys that follow all of the big message boards like this.

Still way early guys, but that vid looked pretty good to me. I'm getting a warm and fuzzy about this one.

Its look they got some good presentation. But i still see no refs on the field. And that tells me that there is no pre-game show like in the ps2. Well at least they step up in the presentation area but can still do better. The gameplay looks nice. At least the sidelines dont look like zombies. But hopefully the presentation will be better. So far by vid Grade : B. Im hoping to see a good college football atmosphere because last year was completly dead. I would like to see refs on the field or the chain gang so i can run them over on the sidelines.

No refs on the field don't necessarily mean that there will be no pregame. In fact there are still penalties in the game where the refs are shown but the refs aren't on the field, it's always been that way. So one has nothing to do with the other at all.

However, with that being said my money is definitely on there being no pre-game. Why do I think that? Well mostly because in the trailer there is a screen showing customization of music and there is no team entrance music (someone painstakingly looked for it in the trailer and it's not there). So if there is no entrance music there is probably no entrance and thus no pre-game.
