What the hell could that possibly mean? I'm not sure what they could possibly mean by that unless they mean they are using a specific animation engine for NCAA that they are not using for Madden else the words are just filler and make no sense whatsoever.
Maybe they are taking out some of the insane hardcore tackles and focusing on more of the smaller things that tend to trip a guy up or something? I wouldn't expect that, but just a guess.

Online Dynasty should be fun, but I hope you don't have the idea that you will have more than about 20 people in your online dynasty, IF that many. All the other stuff is just stuff re-introduced. Has the potential to be a solid, playable game. But if you are looking for a WOW game and I'll leave it at that.
This is what stood out the most to me in the article, and I did take it to mean what you're hypothesizing, but with something like this we will definitely get the full scoop in the coming months and be able to judge it accordingly.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

You know that feature that was in Madden LAST year. Glad most you guys are happy, but I obviously have reason to be sour.
I think the mascot game may have more to do with the Wii not the x360/ps3!!!! I THINK!!

I wonder if the field degradation is progressive over the course of the season. I know it probably won't be the case but it would be really cool if late in the season playing in a place like Heinz Field with the turf a real mess and limiting what players are able to do.

Now that they have all the Ducks unis in, maybe next year we'll see the rest of the NCAA alternates.

Wow, I am amazed. It really seems like they are getting off their butts and actually making a decent game! One thing I am not happy to see however though is they didn't list whether or not you would have discipline problems or medical redshirts in the dynasty mode!!!

On another note, I guess dynamic is the buzz word around the EA office this year.
