Press X (on 360) to call them off. Just like real life.

You used to be able to press x to call them off. Not sure if that works anymore however.

I love the new hit variety, and the hitting does seem much better this year. The aerial cam reminds me of one of the cams that was created for MVP 05 PC. I hit a bomb with DLee and it was cool as hell to watch it sail over the wall from that point of view.

I really think that if there wasn't such an emphasis on the framerate issues, people would be having a hella good time with this game.
Definitely makes a difference in the frame rate.

Minor league games on ps3 are smooth. Major league games, not so much.

This is me.

Baseball is the only sport I have any interest in, and I am a die hard Reds fan. So, I am totally getting the game today, no matter what. I may not be in for the best baseball game ever, but I'm sure I'll play the heck out of it, have fun in the leagues online, and get my moneys worth.

Besides the framerate issue which I hope 2K will adress, this game is pretty solid. Been playing for about an hour now and I must say it was neither a let down or a huge suprise to me.
