To me it's just one of those things that should literally never happen no matter the circumstances. I don't care if it was accidental. He shouldn't be practically standing on the pitch in the first place, but we all know how lax enforcement of being in the technical area is.

Is Pep OK? I don’t think he is.

I’m pretty OK right now.

With the new format, I expect even more unpredictable matchups and drama in European football this season. More teams in the knockout stages could lead to surprising underdog stories and intense battles among the giants!

Real Madrid always seem to find a way to get over the line in the Champions League. Atletico did its best but it wasn't quite good enough. Real Madrid vs Arsenal should also be another good tie to watch for the soccer fans.

I'm no fan of Manchester United (although I play them in a FIFA 22 dynasty that has consumed too much of my time) but that was a bonkers comeback in extra time.

But I don't think that's the most bonkers Europa thing that happened this week.

Bodo, Norway -- north of the Arctic Circle -- advanced to the Europa League semifinals. Population is like 45,000. It's best know as the place people take the ferry to leave for the Lofoten Islands. Needless to say no club from Norway has ever won a major European title and it would be the smallest city by population to win (Apparently 2021 Europa League winners Villarreal have that distinction with a population of about 52,500).

And who do they play? None other than Tottenham, best known for never winning anything. Should be an easy pass to the final for Tottenham. But then again Spurs are going to Spurs.

Yep, I've been on the Bodo/Glimt bandwagon since they pantsed Mourinho and Roma in the Conference League a few years back.
