Granade damage quiestion

I know it might sound strange, but I was wondering if there is a shooter game where grenades actually damage/make holes/blow the floor? Every game I have played it only made a dark spot on the floor or something like that. Is there a game with real floor damage?

I think just the original. Red Faction 2 only had specific locations you could blow up while Guerilla was just buildings.

I know Bad Company 2 did, don't recall it working with a standard frag in BF3, but a m320 grenade launcher will blow a hole in a wall.

Re: Granade damage quiestion

Interesting. Never played BF3 or any of the BC's. Now that you guys mentioned it, I do remember the first Red Faction had some nice destruction engine for its time.

It's just that it always bothers me that you have a shooter that looks great with a great destruction engine, but when you throw a grenade on the ground it just leaves a dark stain or something like that. I guess most current engines are not capable of that or maybe it's too demanding.

BF3 and the Bad Company games just have building/wall damage on explosions. A grenade on the ground won't leave a hole or anything.
