New team, new home, new coach, new faces and most importantly...a new OWNER. Time to look ahead to next year since "The Day" that we have been planning for the last 5-6 years is almost here.

NY Daily News reporting that Celtics Assistant Tom Thibideau is one person Rod Thorn is looking at to become the next Coach.

I'm very interested in what the Nets will do next year. They have talent, particularly Lopez, we'll see what they add in FA/draft...

Reports from the NYTimes is that Prokhorov should be approved the BOG on Tuesday and that he'll be on stage at the Draft Lottery next week.

So as far as I know, the only locks to be on the roster next year are Lopez, Williams and Lee as everyone else are either coming off the books or on the trading block. I really hope this is the year that we finally address the PF Position seeing how we haven't had a legit threat there since K-Mart left in 04 and also definitely need to address one of G positions but I think it's a lock that both will get addressed.

But for now, im just waiting til Prokhorov finally takes over and then the Draft Lottery next week hoping we get the #1 pick in this year's draft.

Coaching wise-ANYONE will be better than what we have dealt with the past 6 years but I'm hoping for either Byron Scott to come back(hopefully he and Rod can put the whole Kidd mess behind them), Tom Thibideaux(a VERY Good Defensive-minded Coach which is what this team needs)or JVG(who's made it known according to some reports that he's not Coaching this year).
