Game crashes to desktop every 5 minutes

Since the last update the game crashes back to desktop within the 1st quarter of every game. I had those crashes before - but not that frequently.

Has anybody else the same problem?

I have the latest drivers installed.

When this happens to me I just verify integrity of game files.....usually works...

I just cannot get rid of that problem.

I have verified my files.

I made two new installations .... and the game still crashes to the desktop in the first 10 minutes of play.

I hadn't that problem at the beginning (actually i never had that problem with any game i have on steam. Every other game runs very stable, NBA2k15 and NBA2k16 as well). The problem occured after an update or after a new video driver.

I just do not want to save every game after 5 minutes of play.

Any suggestions?

Do you have any mods installed?

I have had that exact problem, which was fixed when I removed the modded file / replaced it with the original.

No, no mod is installed. I am not a real pro with PCs, but i am not a rookie. I just can't single out the problem. Cannot be my xbox360 controller, can it? It is detected by steam.

And probably it isn't the nvidia driver either. Other games are running fine and the problem occured with the last driver as well. A few days ago a new driver came out and the problem is still there.

I am really clueless.

Probably the last 2K patch causing you issue.

It seems to be that way. But am i the only one??
