To Those With Knowledge Of Specs ETC.

I'm going to be investing in a gaming laptop. I'm going this direction because I get most of my gaming done on the go...at work etc. To get one of the newer consoles or a gaming PC, would kinda be a waste of money for me. So with that said I'm looking into a gaming laptop. I'm not real advanced when it comes to the specs necessary to play the games I like...2k, old PS2 games using the PS2 emulator, FIFA, Grand Theft etc. So, I found a couple laptops and am going to post the specs and if anyone can chime in and help a brother out it would be great.

Windows 8.1
Intel Core I7-4710MQ

Re: To Those With Knowledge Of Specs ETC.

For sports games, those 2 will be fine, for playable games on medium settings. For GTAV or Batman Arkham Knight then you would want a laptop with a 980m or at least 970m graphics card in it.

A 940m, 950m = GTX 660 TI or R9 270X

980m = GTX 770 or R9 280X, 380

That second laptop is better in every way. The better processor with an actual quad core will be particularly helpful for emulation, though I'm not sure it matters much for PS2. Getting an actual gtx card (though it is the lowest mobile tier) will make a solid difference from a non gtx (which aren't meant for gaming).

For comparison, my current craptop is a bit weaker than that MSI (i5 4210u, gt 840m), and I can play NBA 2k15 at 720p high settings. Surprisingly I was even able to run GTA V (very stable and smooth too), though at low-medium settings at 720p.

The 950m will be reasonable step up from that, though. Here are some benchmarks from various games. Looks like you'll be able to max out Fifa 15.
