How raising sliders effects the cpu

So after posting two sliders for different aspects, I have come up with a third and final set. This set fixes some major issues.

1. The cpu on any level will magnetize themself to your player.

2. The cpu has an internal AI that makes thier movement and reactions quicker than you based on the games programming.

3. Fast breaks are not really realistic because of the Cpu’s AI to be in position automatically.

4. User controlled reactions such as blocking, stealing and jumping are not as responsive. There’s a delay.

5. The right stick for movement should have true movement. A slight touch should have a nice subtle motion without being sluggish.A hard flick should result in a quick movement without sliding.

One thing to see with these sliders is how smoothe the running is for the user. Not only in full acceleration, but also just running up the court. Almost completely eliminated is the awkward hunched over running that looks unorthodox at times. Look how natural fast players like LeBron get up court and attack the rim.

Theses are meant with the default rosters. They might work with others, but are not tested.

Don’t read into the slider values, but instead see how players move and how they play on the court.

Start off on default Pro

Real shooting%
Real free throw%

Game speed 52

Values are for both unless 2 are listed. If so the first is the user and the second is the cpu.

Nice movement on these... have you tried them on higher difficulty? I haven’t had a chance yet.

Re: How raising sliders effects the cpu

No because the CPU cheats so much with its internal AI that I would prob go through an abundance of controllers.

I’ll admit these are prob not the hardest sliders you’ll play , but lowering shooting% down can help with that. With that said, these are the most fun that I have played .

Gotcha. I’ll check out the lower shot success rates for user to see how they play.

Re: How raising sliders effects the cpu

After using these for awhile now I’m totally convinced that the internal AI of the cpu will adapt to the sliders.
These are giving me the most fluent and natural moving game thus far. Fast breaks , offense movement , defensive reaction and user/cpu interaction are much better and without any morphing or clipping with these.

Re: How raising sliders effects the cpu

While the movement may be smooth i don't understand why you have the user at such an advantage with some key sliders.

With speed and acceleration so slanted it is far too easy to beat the cpu off the dribble and outrun them for easy scores.
Also with strength slanted it is too easy to back down which again leads to too many easy buckets...

Re: How raising sliders effects the cpu

I stated that in my first post . Can offset this by adjusting the shooting sliders in the cpu favor.

P.s. did you use the slider set or are u speculating ?
