Texas Rangers roster help?

I want to start a Rangers franchise but I'm out of the loop on the players/rosters. Would anyone be able to assist me with what the MLB and possibly even AAA roster ( rotation, bullpen, bench, batting order ) would currently be if EVERYONE was healthy?

Like:
MLB - Degrom, Max, Eov, ? , ?
Batting order -
Pen -
Bench -

AAA -
Batting -
Pen -
Bench -

Would be much appreciated!
Rob

One good place to start to get a clearer understanding of the Rangers organization is Fangraphs Roster Resource.

Re: Texas Rangers roster help?

Much appreciate you for replying. I have been looking at Fangraphs and trying to put the roster together over the weekend.

Here's what I got so far.

Jacob deGrom
Max Scherzer
Nathan Eovaldi

Then who would be 4-5?

Cody Bradford, Tyler Mahle, Michael Lorenzen, Jon Gray?

Starting lineup (obviously would change depending on match ups but line-up for the most part...)

Semien
Seager
Carter ?
García
Lowe ?
Jung ?
Heim ?
Langford ?
Taveras ?

Bench - Jankowski, Duran, Knizner, and?

Bullpen

Leclerc
Sborz
Robertson

and lost after that.

Going to look at this piece by piece. Looking at Lindy's Preview magazine, 4 and 5 in the rotation if Scherzer and deGrom are healthy would be Gray 4 and Dunning 5.

Man, after years of being in the wilderness with pitching, if healthy the Rangers have room to work with if you want to do some Trader Jack wheeling and dealing. No wonder they let Montgomery and Odorizzi walk.

It looks like Lindy's has the pecking order after 4 and 5 to be Heaney, Bradford and then Mahle. I don't see mention of Lorenzen.

Re: Texas Rangers roster help?

I would probably rotate DH and an OF spot between Langford, Duran and Garcia so Duran can grab some AB's, plus Garcia can get a beak in the OF at DH. Another stacked department with pieces to maybe trade for future prospects 3 years down the road, but right now Bradford and Carter got the youth movement covered.

Going over to Baseball Reference seeing how Bochy has made the lineups for April:
1 Semien 2B
2 Seager SS
3 Carter LF
4 Garcia RF
5 ?
6 ?
7 Heim C
8 Langford DH
9 Taveras
Not sure how Lowe at 1B and Jung at 3B are supposed to fit in.

Re: Texas Rangers roster help?

I guess that last spot on the bench when everyone healthy belongs to Jared Walsh.

And according to Lindy's Kirby Yates was supposed to play a significant role in the 'pen, in their season preview. But really, there's more than one way to skin a championship and more than one road leads to October. Good luck and happy baseball.

Much appreciated. Yea when I was looking at the rotation, I was like damn it's deep . 4-5 could really pick be anyone from 3, 4 or 5 people.

Do you think Justin Foscue would be on MLB roster? As far as I understand he was only called up because Jung's injury.
