Sideline Interceptions

So, I was playing around with player traits for Madden 12 and I noticed every single corner back I could find was set to:

Makes Sideline catches: No

This is most likely why we see back of the end zone and sideline interception attempts almost always end in failure, especially online where we can't use custom sliders.

I haven't had time to test it, but I am pretty sure this will fix the problem. Player traits are very powerful in Madden 12. Anyone who has Madden 13, it might be a good idea to check and edit this player trait and see what happens in Play Now. Maybe this solution will work and we can get Donny to pay moore attention to player traits. [see what I did there?] After all, the traits were completely ignored this last year.

I never thought about this. I may fire up M12 and change the traits and head into practice mode to see if I see a change. I've def never seen a sideline pick. Or back of the endzone tip toe picks.

I really hope that in m13, drafted players come in with some of the traits that they didnt last year. you never had a guy outside of QB have "yes" to clutch player, or one of the others like sideline catches
