Question for people doing PS2 roster updates

Is anyone using an editor to do their roster updates on PS2 or is everyone doing it by hand? Im wondering because Im looking for a roster editor but I heard that there aren't any for the PS2 due to the CRC code thing.

I believe they are doing them by hand... I believe mine is the only PC editor but the PS2 version won't allow game saves edited by my editor to load in game.
