Since this is OS, are we going to pretend that the original Mortal Kombat movies were good?

Well I enjoyed the 1st one. Thought it was alright in terms of special effects and video game turned into movieness for back then.

I loved the first one. Annihilation sucked big time though.

Yea the first one got me hyped because it was an MK movie and overall I liked it. Could have been better though..

Here's to hoping this movie does the MK franchise some justice. One thing that keeps me optimistic though is that its going to be a dark film so fatalities are in.

That alone brings a smile to my face. Hopefully outerworld isn't completely cut out from this one but if it is I won't be to mad because at least they'll be able to stay true to the game's brutality.

Well I for one never liked any of the MK movies though the special effects while a bit cheesy were kinda cool in the first movie overall though it sucked.

The world doesn't really need a new interpretation of Mortal Kombat does it?

I believe it's just a fancy viral vid for a new game.

Warner Bros. owns the franchise now, and can pump some cash into it. MK is still a franchise I'd get pumped about if done well.
