Here's a livestream of some 1978-79 playoff action. Game 1 between the Kings and Rangers.

Three goals in the final minute of this wild affair!

Re: NHL 25 - Superstar Sliders

OK I think I finally found my sweet spot on superstar and updated values that have a double asterisk on the OP. My reasoning is as follows:

Shooting accuracy
Still not scoring enough as there are precious few times that you are in the clear and have time. Shot accuracy advantage is necessary for me in order to generate more regular scoring. Consequently, I lowered the cpu goaltending values from 40 to 30 (I've even had this at 25) for cross crease and reaction time. Much better feel now.

Goaltending
I raised human goaltending to 65 from 55 as I was seeing too many greasy goals. Those where the goalie gets a piece of it and then it trickles in. That was happening to me at least twice every game. Now it happens maybe once in every two games.

Passing
The passing area is a work in progress as the cpu is still way too accurate. The cpu pass accuracy slider is broken IMO. I'm trying to loosen up the puck and these values help with that but doesn't totally stop the pin point passing of the cpu. However, with the human goalie boost, at least I don't always pay the price as I did before with the puck in the back of my net on a regular basis.

I realize these may not be for everyone as our skill levels vary, but they suit me fine. Even with my adjustments favoring the human side, superstar is still very challenging, so I soldier on. I also think NHL 25 this is the most realistic gameplay of the series in quite a while. The cpu has a tiny bit of comeback logic on occasion, particularly late in the games and especially in playoff mode, so these slight advantages on the human side help offset that.

I spent the first couple of months creating my roster, so I'm just getting back to playing somewhat regularly for the past few weeks. As I play more, these may change by adjusting the noted cpu values, but right now, things are good. I'll also try to provide more livestream action as you'll see how these are working.

Re: NHL 25 - Superstar Sliders

I like a lot of what I’ve seen with these sliders, but I’m just not ready to play on Superstar yet , will these sliders work in lower levels?
