Is there a coach mode in the Career mode?

In the Play Now Match you can set the controller to the middle position and watch the game play out so you can let the ratings of the players speak for themselves.

When I try to do this in Career Mode, it says that I need to play with the team I selected in the Career Mode, so I can't watch the teams play.

Is there a way around this?

PES 2016 has a coach mode and you can even change up tactics and everything . You can manage your team.

Does FIFA 16 have this?

This is something I wish they'd bring back in all offline modes.

In the past, they would let you, but would alert you that Trophies/Acheivements would be deactivated while you're not controlling a team. That works for me. Bring it back, EA!
