Help: Recruiting an ATH. He has locked me out.

Ok so I recruited an ATH last night that had me as their number 1 choice. He is from Copperas Cove where Robert Griffin is from so I am thinking he is possibly RG4. He has great stats and after scouting him he is the highest rated player interested in my team.

Here is the issue I need help with:

He has locked me out until I fix his "Playing Time". The problem is that looking at his stats I have no idea what position he would play. He could be anything from a QB, CB, WR, TE, FS, SS.... the sky is the limit. He has stats that cover all those positions.

What I have tried:

I went through my recruiting list and cut the CBs and WRs down to like one or two guys hoping that would clear things with him but it didn't.

Any suggestions? I really want to sign this guy.

Do you have the break lock coach skill? Iv'e noticed that's the easiest way to unlock recruits. Athletes also have their position revealed to you when they come for a school visit, but, since he's locked you out there's no way you can make that happen.

I believe the playing time aspect is tied to how many seniors you have at the position on your roster, which means how many guys will be leaving so the incoming FR doesn't have long to wait before he can play.

1. Did he drop points when he was scouted?

2. I was under the impression that hitting a dealbreaker after adding someone to your board simply meant you wouldn't get points for that pitch. I didn't think you would be prevented from recruiting him entirely. Are you sure this is what you are seeing?

Is the only way to unlock a prospect is to have the unlock skill?

He is on my recruiting board so he must have locked me out after the preseason. I can not make offers and it literally says he refused to consider my team until the issue is resolved.

The deal is he wants to go to Baylor. The predicted red line for lock outs only has Baylor on the top of it. I have never seen this before. I just do not know how to handle it. It's driving me crazy.

When you scouted him, did his OVR drop?

And I guess dealbreakers uncovered in the preseaon prevent you from recruiting the player, because I was under the impression that if the dealbreaker came into play once they were on the board, you simply didnt get the points. Maybe that only applies during the season and/or maybe you have to offer them first.
