Error in Downloading Tuner

I'm about at my end of my rope with this game. After multiple other issues, I now can't download the tuner. I connect, it prompts me to download and then tells me that there was an error in downloading a kicks me off the server. EA Customer Support has been anything but helpful.

Anyone have any thoughts about what I could try? I've done the cache, deleting files, etc., all the normal stuff.

I've had the exact same problem with patch #2. It gets to about 30% every time and then I get kicked off. I decided that I don't want the patch anymore!!
