Playing musical chairs with PS4 and PS5 games. Debating spending $100 and going ahead and getting a dedicated portable SSD for PS4 expansion and hoping it works when they provide specs. Thoughts?

I don't expect portable SSD to ever be able to play PS5 games, it'll likely be specific PCIE 4.0 compatible nvme drives.

I have an portable HDD that I use with my PS5. I keep my PS4 games on there then transfer them to the PS5 when I want to play them but I also only play 1 or 2 games at a time.
