Everything together on sale for $770 right now with black friday sales. Just wondering if it is a big enough upgrade. Now i dont NEED to upgrade my set up, however i recently got a $1000 Best Buy gift card so I was looking to upgrade since its not really my money lol.

There's no reason to go with the i9-14900K because you have a GPU. The i9-13900KF is virtually identical with the only major difference being lack of integrated graphics (which you don't require). And you'll save ~$200 if I'm reading the prices of each setup correctly.

Have any of you guys messed around with the new versions of DLSS4 and frame gen since the most recent updates?

I’m not sure how well it works on every game, but the image quality upgrades to DLSS on the few games I’ve tried so far are substantial. The previous generation’s Quality mode is now more or less being matched, and in some facets surpassed, by the Balanced and Performance modes of the newer DLSS model.

Not only that, but the performance of frame gen has been significantly improved as well. Makes for a pretty nice upgrade after 2 years with my 4070ti, and even the 20/30 series cards are able to benefit to a lesser degree.

I am always looking to get the most out of my hardware so I have been reading about all of these new features. On a related note I am the proud new owner of an ASUS Astral 5080 GPU, omg the games!

Nice!

The initial reviews were a little down on the uplift compared to the 4080 super, but from what I’ve seen it looks like you can overclock/undervolt the **** out of those cards.

I've been trying to get my hands on a 5090, even prebuilt... wild.

The prebuilds are being sold for insane amounts.

Guess I will wait. 3090 holding strong.
