I turned it off and then when I turned it back on it asked me to again set the time and date which I did via internet.

Anyone esle having this problem. I'm thinking the battery maybe going out on me. it still work just fine, but i keep getting it at start up.

Yeah sounds like the internal battery is dead...

My time is always 4 or 5 minutes fast. I set it, turn off the PS3 and when I turn it on it is fast, don't know why but it has always been like that since I got it.
