It might be all the on screen help. I have this turned off as well, not sure if they are related but I can no longer see the kick off arrow nor the meter. Which does make kicking the ball more difficult and more of a challenge.

It's 'on screen display' ...i was wondering what 'auto steer' does though. I tured it off, but can't really say i notice much difference.
