FOFC Favorite Rock Act - Round 2 Group B

On to group B and my fav act of all-time has a brutal draw, but I am ride or die with CT. I am most curious in this group how the Jackson/Yes voting is going to go. Jackson has a lot of songs with rock "flavor" but is definitely not a traditional rock act. Styx and Bon Jovi could be interesting too.

I'll help you out with Cheap Trick. I have always thought Springsteen was massively overrated.

And as much as I like Yes, since we are in a post-mortem (and molestation) phase with MJ, I gave him the vote.

I hate the Doors, so don't take my vote for the Mamas and the Papas too seriously.

Cheap Trick/BS was tough, but I give CT the edge because I like more of their songs.

Quickly hit Bon Jovi, then started thinking of each band's songs I like to listen to. Made it much more difficult.

While MJ may not technically be rock, I'll keep voting him ovwr relatively lower level rock bands (sorry, Yes fans). But when he faces up with some real rock heavyweights, see ya Mike.

Prince (along the same lines) has a better chance to go longer with me. He was more of a rock player (plus, I personally enjoyed his music more than MJ).

I think Prince could make a decent run in this thing.

This isn't their best known work, but Levon and the gang kill it.

Just a question, but is Bowie supposed to be in this bracket? Shouldn't the 4th round matchups have 8 vs 25 and 16 vs 17?

I guess the 48 vs 88 matchup also would be in the wrong bracket as well.

Group A will merge into this one, so that should line up. That said I am sure I am off on a few of the seeding matchups. It was a bitch to keep track of, LOL.

Just remember that if the bracket remains "chalk", each matchup should add up to the number of teams left +1.

Heh, all of my picks except one are losing and will lose. Bruce/CT was tough but had to go with the Boss since he's far better today than CT.
