Surprised that the Falcons deferred. Would have thought that they wanted to get a chance to get out in front first and make he Patriots chase them.

Great start, put a hat on Edelman and then stuff the 3rd and short.

I have seen this so many times anymore. Are the punters getting that much better at putting spin on the ball to keep it out of the endzone? That whole stand at the 10 and don't go backwards to receive the punt rule seems to have been thrown out.

Two sacks on that drive, that's a good recipe for success.

Atlanta's offense is too good. Too many different angles of attack.

22 minutes in before the first appearance of the Brady "dude, you fucked up" face at the camera/teammate. OVER pays.

Pats SB struggles continue with teams getting a solid pass rush with their front 4.

If the refs aren't a factor the Falcons win. Patriots keep getting bailed out on 3rd down.

Defensive mistakes going to end up keeping the Patriots in range at halftime. Those third down penalties are killers.

That's why you hold on 3rd down rather than give up an easy touchdown. Falcons game plan on D has been almost perfect so far

It's ok, Falcons and Matt Ryan have always been cool. At least they're not the Giants or Seahawks.

I am shocked at the hits Brady is taking from the 4 man rush. This is just insane.

The two biggest plays on this drive could well have been INT's the other way. Brady looks really off.

Big win by a very tired defense to hold for the fg.

Seems like the Atlanta front 4 have been doing a really good job at rushing the passer all playoffs. Atlanta was 7th worst in the league in sack percentage. Guess that line really stepped it up once the playoffs started.

They have, but I really chalked that up mostly to bad lines, and both teams getting down early. Not anymore. The D-line just really has come together amazingly over the last few games.

Man, the Patriots are just killing themselves with drive ending plays deep in scoring territory. First it was the Blount fumble, then the Pick-6 and finally the Bennett penalty. I'm not sure you can say New England is actually getting outplayed but rather is just shooting themselves in the foot repeatedly.

Kudos though to the Falcons pass rush, very impressive so far and is definitely to credit for some of New England's errors on offence. New England also looks like they have no answer for Davonta Freeman, which has totally opened up the pass game for Atlanta.

If the Falcons hold on to win, they would have beaten the Seahawks, Packers and Patriots. That is very impressive and deserving.

well I would have expected the Patriots to be winning if someone had told me the game was a blowout...way too early to count out the Pats though.

3,2,1 .... Before people start complaining about the halftime show like every other year!!! I thought it was well done personally.

And this game is far from over. Brady and Beli wont go out without a fight.

I'll take your word for it. I am taking in the replay for Huddersfield/Leeds.

The NFL's own commercial with the babies might be the best one so far. Terrible SB commercials this year.
