Any good online colleges out there?

So I got about 10 months left on the GI Bill. Is there any company out there willing to teach me the down and dirty details on web design? Or similiar computer skillz?

Sorry for feeling like a spam monster.

If that's what you're looking for, I'd suggest doing something like Udacity. They do "nanodegrees." It's basically run like a subscription, usually about $199/mo. If you finish in less than 12 months, which is very doable, they refund half the tuition you paid. The programs are designed by Google, Facebook, GitHub, etc. Nanodegree Plus is more expensive, but you're guaranteed a job within 6 months of graduation or you get a full refund.

Udacity Nanodegree

Udacity Nanodegree

Fine print of paid internships there stands out. Nor is it a guarantee of a livable wage job.

Nothing beats the real thing. But if you work full-time, nothing beats a decent on-line school. I chose UMUC because it used the same curriculum as UM. After that, it's what you put into it. My resume says "college graduate". I sit side by side people with degrees from "real" schools and I hold my own. Many traditional schools have on-line options now. My only advice: I would steer clear of any on-line school that sounds too easy, too fast, or too good to be true. Good luck in your decision.

If you finish in 12 months you pay a maximum of $3600 to get your foot in the door if that's your preferred path. Finish in 10 months and you spend $3000, get $1500 back, and have an internship that at least bumps up your resume for future job searching. That's a hell of a lot better than many traditional education programs.
