Who has your vote as of 7/19/16

Curious how much has changed over the past two months:

Can't vote for either of the main candidates. I still maintain they are worst two possibly in US history but at the very least the worst choice in the last century. I'll be writing in Kasich most likely.

How about fictional creatures? Any of the Pokemon Go creatures will do. This game is bringing people together and businesses are booming. Isn't that what we want?

I'm half joking here, but seriously... isn't that what we want?

That was my original stance but have been moving towards Johnson. Would like ot see a third party get some serious attention this year. Is the perfect year for it.

Trump.
Not because I like him in the least. But I cant imagine a worse scenario for us than Hillary. The onyl person who I think has a CHANCE to beat her is Trump...so therefor I strategically vote for the 2nd worst possible candidate this year.

As an outsider, Hillary seems like the status quo, while Trump is the devil you don't know. Pretty shitty options no matter how you slice it, but hey, two party politics, that's how it works.

You include Gary Johnson, but not Jill Stein? Nice bit of bias there.

Hillary Clinton and it's not even close. She is the most qualified candidate running for office since the early 1800s and is the best option for preserving the great gains we've made during the Obama Administration while going further.

I voted for her in the 2008 Primaries, I voted for her in the 2016 Primaries, and I will proudly vote for her in the 2016 General Election as I continue to volunteer for her campaign.

I can imagine one, donald trump winning I'm not a big Hillary fan either, but I've been a Democrat since I could vote, and Trump certainly isn't the first Republican I'd switch sides for. Need a Democrat to win to get the edge on the Supreme Court too.

Luckily, I live in a completely irrelevant state, 'cause I can't stand either of them. Hillary is the sleaziest sleaze of the seven sleazes, Trump is...Trump.

The wonders of the electoral system determine my Presidential vote matters not.

I voted Gary Johnson, but it'll be Jill Stein if she's on the ballot in Indiana. (I haven't checked recently, so I have no idea.)

Probably Hillary but there's a chance I throw my vote towards Gary Johnson if Trump is up big in the polls in Kentucky. No way I'd ever vote for Donald Trump.

Even if I didn't like Hilary, there's no way I'd subject minorities to a loss of their rights by throwing my vote away to Johnson or Stein.

I hate the two-party system so I'd take a terrible president and multiple parties over keeping one of the terrible candidates out of the office. Gary Johnson it is, but lets face it, I live in California so it'll be Hilary from our state. This will end my run of voting for the winning candidate

I'm no fan of Clinton but I'll vote for her by default. She at least supports net neutrality which I think is important. And if the Republicans hold the House and Senate, everything will just be a stalemate anyway. She also at least has an understanding of international politics that the other candidates don't.

I'll probably vote for stein depending on polls. If Johnson can get 5% I will vote for him. If the race is close I'll vote for Hildawg, very very reluctantly.

Clinton. I wouldn't say I *like* her, but I cannot understate just how much Republican dickery in the Senate over the Supreme Court vacancy has pissed me off.

Playing games over political laundry in the hopes that "your" candidate can be the one to fill the vacancy instead undermines the independence of the judiciary. Hold the god damned hearings. If he's not qualified, vote against confirmation, and trust the voters to understand.

But when the second ranking Republican on the Judiciary Committee says "If President Obama were serious about filling this vacancy rather than playing political games, he'd send us Merrick Garland," and the ranking Republican on the Committee says "lol nope, no hearings, no vote, we're just gonna run the clock out on this one," that tells me *exactly* how serious Republicans are about governance.

Spoiler

Clinton it is.

If Johnson had a chance I would vote for him. However since I vote in Michigan(which might be a purple state this year) I'll vote for Hillary to keep Trump from becoming President.

I hope Johnson does well and becomes a part of the narrative and history of the 2016 election, encouraging future credible 3rd-party candidates and independents. But I don't believe in voting strategically, I try to vote for the person I think will do the best job, and I think that's Clinton.

Greens aren't in Indiana. I looked too.

She's said some wackadoodle things on Twitter that soured my fairly consistent third-party voting record in Presidential elections, but I can't envision a world where I vote for Hillary especially in a non-swing state. Trump finally got me to ax my party registration after keeping it obstinately for years despite my views changing dramatically. GOP is brain dead.

Gary Johnson isn't a favorite to me, he's too right wing in ways that don't really match up with reality and Weld seems like a dude who'll put Vice-Presidential nominee in his future bio somewhere.

Just a terrible election year, but I've always been anti-two parties.

I get sick to my stomach thinking about politics at any level anymore, I think the psychological effects of having to live in a country run by idiots are changing my perspective to one that prefers to remain blind to it all and just try to live the best life I can, governance be damned. I'd like to think voting would make a difference, but it literally doesn't anymore.

You could put any of these turds in the office and all it would do is further clog the toilet.

You have to vote for the lesser of 2 evils. Since I believe you need to work for a living and the fact that I don't believe Hilary cares about American lives, I'm voting for Trump.

A vote for Johnson is pretty much a vote for Hilary in my mind, so that's out of the question.

Darrell Castle. Not that I know him well or have even thoroughly vetted him yet, but I believe of all years where a tide of third party votes could make a difference in the national narrative, it would be this year. I despise the two-party system, and of the third parties, I find myself most in agreement with the Constitution Party.

Amazing the power that non voting minorities on welfare have on getting out the Republican vote. I guess it's the same as pro gun white fundamentalists getting out the Democrate vote.

It would be funny if the possible consequences weren't so terrifying. Trump is a complete wild card, and I honestly have no idea what would happen with him in power - the system is setup to keep the status quo, but if anyone can ignite a conflict with his mouth, it would be Trump... 'Different' isn't always better, and sometimes it can be much, much worse.

It might just be my own pessimism flavoured by all that's been going on around the world recently, but it feels to me like there's a lot of pieces falling into place in Europe/Asia/Middle East/US for a pretty dire near future. To me, Trump feels like a pretty big piece in that puzzle, too.

The system is set up for the status quo in paragraph one and then the world is headed to the brink of catastrophe in part two?

He ran on a strong grass-roots platform and vowed to fight a bloody war on the world of illegal drugs. The guy is a straight talker and represented the collective Id of the entire nation.

The previous administration was beleaguered by a lack of self consciousness in the media that eventually sinked the admin candidate during the elections. Mar Roxas couldn't climb out of the shithole that the previous admin dug themselves into.

I did not vote for Duterte, but I do understand how a charismatic straight-talker can inspire a cult of personality strong enough to win the Presidency.

Trump got my vote after his speech last night.
Im tired of more of the same. Be it Republican or Democrat. Clinton and the other 16 knuckleheads from the primary are all one in the same. Liars, cheats and out for themselves before all else.

Trump comes across as someone who is out for me. He isnt an insider. He isnt more of the same.

I loved what his daughter said in her intro speech :Im not a Republican or a Democrat, Im an American."

Which leads me to the big reason. Put America First. Ive always had leanings towards isolationism. And this globalism that has raced to the forefront is tired to me. Im ready to put my countries interests before all others.

Im ready for an "outsider".
