Funny story... 2 guys my wife works with went out for breakfast yesterday morning. They were eating and in walks Jay Cutler and Kyle Long. Jay sits at the table next to the 2 coworkers of my wife and orders. At some point one of the coworkers turns around and looks over at Jay to steal a glance of 2 pro athletes. Jay turns towards him and asks him to "turn around now". A while later the coworker facing Jay's table takes out his iphone and tries to nonchalantly take a photo. Jay gets up to leave after eating and as he passes their tables says "Did you get what you wanted?" to the guy taking the photo. I know it's one side of the story but wtf..

Edit: My vote is not Chicago!

I think Seattle has another run before they have to start paying guys. If they get homefield through out forget about it. That stadium is every bit as loud as they say it is.

I house-ruled myself that I couldn't vote for Cincy (here's looking at you, Butter!), so I picked Chicago because their offense is loaded.

It's easy to pick Seattle just because they are the current champions, but you have to go way back to get back-to-back champions. So it's probably not in the cards.

It's not going to happen, but a guy can dream, can't he?

Its easy to pick them because they are the best team and have easily the best home field advantage. I answered the question honestly instead of trying for an against the grain pick like Cincinnati or Chicago.

I don't factor in what happened last season, it is irrelevant at this point.

Yeah, but Seattle's division is a killer and their out of conference games are against the AFC West. Winner of the NFC West will not have home field advantage.

I took Denver. Hard to think that cyborg Manning hasn't spent the entire offseason stewing over and studying that Super Bowl loss (apart from the time spent making cringeworthy commercials that is)

I think he comes out and has one of the great all time seasons for a QB and then hangs them up

Kind of forgot the Pats did it, but the point remains. It is a very tough accomplishment.

Dolphins fan here. But I'm taking Cincinnati, they have a load of talent on both sides of the ball.

Well OK, but don't do that again - you made me feel really old there for a sec.

I'm worried about losing Anthony Collins and not replacing Kyle Cook. If any our O-Line guys go down we could be in trouble. Also, have to see if Jeremy Hill is up to snuff since we are going with a 'run-first' offense - something I'm not in love with.

Of course I picked my beloved Cards to win it all...seems like they finally have their offensive line figured out which should lead to a much better running game. Defense should be strong again (though without Daryl Washington for the full season, stupid idiot) and hopefully Carson Palmer can continue to grow with Fitzgerald and Floyd.
