You can bring back 10 retired players to the NHL...

... to start their careers again as rookies. Who do you bring back?

Similar to the NFL thread:
  1. Wayne Gretzky
  2. Steve Yzerman
  3. Gordie Howe
  4. Nicklas Lidstrom
  5. Jacque Plante
  6. Bobby Orr
  7. Mark Messier
  8. Terry Sawchuk
  9. Mario Lemieux
  10. Marcel Dionne

8: Gordie Howe
9: Cam Neely

Most of these guys are personal favorites or guys I'd like to see play a full healthy career. I'd also love to see a league with healthy, in their prime versions of Messier, Neely and Lindros all playing at the same time.

I would love to see what Mario Lemieux could have achieved in a career without injuries and sickness.

Mike Bossy and Bobby Orr were forced out of the game far, far too young.

3 Gretzky's and 7 Tie Domi's would be fun!

Agreed. I always saw him as a better overall player than Gretzky; not quite as good of a passer but he could dominate games like nobody else I have ever seen.
