New FOFC Fantasy Football League - ESPN

I am looking to create a new FOFC Fantasy Football League using ESPN. I know a lot of people don't like to use ESPN but I enjoy it and would love to have an FOFC ESPN league.

Settings:

Auction Draft

10 Teams
QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, FLEX, K, D

7 Bench

Passing TD worth 6.

.04 points per passing yard.
.1 point per rushing or receiving yard

PM and respond to the post with your email if you want a spot.

$ or for fun? I have nothing against playing for fun but feel like $ (even a little bit) gives people an incentive not give up after the draft goes bad.

I was thinking this season just for fun, seeing how the league went and then hopefully come back next season and add a $ fee to it. But I am not at all opposed to a small entry fee if we had enough that wanted to pay.

There's already a few FOFC Yahoo leagues, personally I enjoy ESPN better so I wanted to make a league on ESPN.

Ah ok, I'll monitor it, but I think im full on free leagues. Yahoo makes it more tempting since my other leagues are there and it makes it easier to check in

Curious, at least. Only scoring difference is per-yard scoring and the 50% bump to pass TDs?

Yup those are about the only changes. Trying to keep it fairly standard.

I have never done an auction draft, but sounds fun. Do we know when the draft will be?

I'm down for this.

Any thoughts on making it a PPR league?

Solid. Wish the league I had RG3 and Brady in last year had that scoring...

Ok, I'll join. Would like it if we can all put up somewhere from $10-$25 though.

It's early enough that I should be able to keep that off from my second job.

I will not available that day until about 9:30 EST. I coach two soccer teams and our practice finishes up at 8pm CST. If I am the only who cannot make it then I can step down and I am sure someone else can take my place. Either way no biggee.

Any other times work for the majority? How about a Sunday evening? The 25th? Or even later on a weeknight? 9 EST? 9:30? 10?

I can do a Sunday evening/afternoon and later on weeknight works too, I get home at 7 from practice, but that is 10 EST, which is kind of late for folks in that time zone

An hour earlier should be ok, I'll may just have to leave a tough early as that would give two hour between drafts

I saw it was switched to earlier to compensate Danny. That's fine, but could we edge it back a little later so I can be sure to be clear of my day shift? Danny said an hour earlier would be fine (from 5 p.m. to 4 p.m. my time). A move to 3 p.m. means I am probably still at my job.

I have never done an auction draft for football before, and never a live one for any sport period. So I don't know how important it is if I am there at the start.

Even if it can't be moved up to 3:30 p.m. or 4 p.m., though, I should be in attendance at some point.

Very happy with my draft. Only small oopsy was nominating Flacco. I didnt actually want him, but wanted to clog up other rosters with him. Was still able to get the two QBs I wanted though. Ill likely end up dropping flacco
