I had one a couple years ago (2 or 3 systems back). They're good machines, but overpriced IMO.

They are overpriced indeed. Dell just launched the XPS system which is better than the one listed above and I wouldn't buy it for the same reason. If you want to get a truly bad ass system, build your own. No other way to go.

I would build my own as well. I've just read alot about Alienware and wondered just how good those pc's are for gaming?

the only problem with building your own, is that you can't be sure that the different items work together, that happened with my computer...

I have one and I like mine. However, they are now really overpriced. I'd go with someone like IBUYPOWER or something like that. 20% cheaper for the same damn thing.
