Second PC failure in last month....
I had an HP laptop go bad on my about a month ago (32 days to be exact), I know that because Best Buy has a 30 day return policy. Luckily, the girl working the return counter was a former student of mine, and she took the laptop back, I had bought to replace my failed one. Got an autorepair message this morning, and it failed on the auto repair. So, I said the hell with it, and went and bought a Macbook Pro today. I'm on a fairly steep learning curve.

I had an HP go bad at about 10 months then it died about 6 months later. The hard drive on my newer different HP went bad when it was about 11 months old. I think I'm done with their laptops.
