Talking Collateral Damage

As some of you may have heard, HornsManiac was permanently banned from posting here by ip ban. Unfortunately for me, I work at Dell and their network is set up so that all users in the whole company have the same first two digits. So, I got banned. Sent an e-mail to Ryan who e-mailed Sky Dog and now I am back. I just thought it was quite humorous.

Thanks everyone. I am encouraged by your support. I have decided that this situation demands urgent action. As a show of solidarity with the other victims of the witch hunt of 2003 I plan to ban myself from the forum for the period of 2 minutes.

astralhaze haze has returned. You people may think that by ignoring astralhaze that you have hurt the feelings of astralhaze, but astralhaze is a lot tougher than that. astralhaze doesn't care about what people on a message board devoted to a freaking game have to say about him.

But if I can't wear ignorant after Labor Day, what else do I wear? All I have is white.

At home, but not at work. It worked for a while and then I came up banned again for some reason.

By the way, I hope that everyone realizes this entire thread was purely tongue in cheek.

If not, I will try to use more emoticons in the future.

Dang. You must have switched IP's. I un-banned the class of the the one from which I got your e-mail yesterday. Send me another e-mail when you get to work.

Either that, or go work for another company.

LOL

Will do. I won't be back until Monday (yay!) but I will be sure to. It is far too boring only having the .400 boards to watch. This one has far more flame wars.

I actually, I count a quint-dola, and I definitely wouldn't call it "perfectly executed." "Pathetically implemented" seems more appropriate given the tone of this thread.

I counted the 5 posts in a row to be a quad dola, since 1 post is not really a dola. Or is it? I will defer to the experts.

You may be right. I am far from an expert on the matter. My point still stands, though, that there was nothing "perfect" about the execution.

Technically, the 1st post does not count in the 'dola-tally', if you will.

So, 5 posts in a row is a quad-dola, but since none of it was properly noted, astralhaze shall get zero credit, and this occurance of the rare quad-dola is stricken from the record.

I think double-dola usually refers to 3 posts, so I believe quad-dola would be correct in this case. But I could be wrong, I'm only division 1 (I need to have more quad-dolas I guess).

I think you are going to have to prove you are not HM.

Please (candidly) answer the following five questions:

1) Are you an asshat?

2) Is Don Juan Demarcos your favorite flick?

3) Do you have an uncanny knack for uncovering and growing fake baseball talent?

4) Do you snort liquid crack before posting about college football?

5) Is your scrotum freshly shorn? (ignore this one)

Your prompt answers will be much appreciated.

I think some clarification on the Dola rule is needed - does a dola have to be explicitly labeled as such to count? Or do any consecutive postings count as a dola? What are the defining principles of a dola post?

It does not have to be noted to be a dola, but it is polite and in good form to do so.
