I-96 Shooting Spree
I-96 Shooting Spree: One Wounded In String Of 24 Linked Incidents Along Interstate, Police Say
Staying in Michigan for the past 2 months for work. This latest event happened less than 5 miles from the Hotel I am staying at. Just lucky at this point he is such an awful shot. I believe Jim G doesnt live too far away from these shootings as well. This crazy needs to be off the roads. Last edited by jbergey22 : 10-28-2012 at 06:26 AM. |

I live 25 minutes from there. The town I grew up in is one over.

I live very close to there, but I rarely, if ever, drive on I-96.
Considering I've already had my car shot at once while driving (see, Street Cred - Front Office Football Central), I hope that I've reached my lifetime quota.

This is very upsetting. Yesterday's shootings were a few exits west of here, and this guy's "territory" is pretty much the entire drive between here and where my girlfriend lives. There's really no other way to get there. So I was out on 96 within an hour of when it reopened yesterday.
No one seems to know for certain what he's doing. While that's a crowded road, it is more sporadic traffic, especially after it goes to two lanes very near where yesterday's shootings were. This guy may be shooting from his car wildly at cars going in the opposite direction. Who knows how many shots he's taken that have completely missed? It's going to take a miracle to catch him if he doesn't want to get caught. |

I like the interview with a guy who knew him 35 years before. He was fine when he was 8! Lovely boy!
