Thumbs up OOTP 13 & iOOTP 2012 release dates announced!

Hey guys,

we've just announced the release dates of both our upcoming games, OOTP 13 for PC/Mac/Linux and iOOTP 2012 for iOS (iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad).

OOTP 13 will be released April 9th. Those who have preordered, will get it April 6th! So, if you haven't preordered yet, do it now. You will get the best OOTP ever, I am 100% sure about that.

iOOTP 2012 will be available in the AppStore on April 5th!

Please see here for details:

OOTP 13 and iOOTP 2012 "Road to Release" articles will be published soon as well, along with new screenshots.

Thanks for reading!
Markus

Any thought of eventually releasing an Android version?

It is on our list but no timetable set at the moment.

I agree, I really didn't like the way they determined SP/RP in the past few versions, I really look forward to this change. The real time simulation is going to be awesome IMO as well.

I am plotting an old-school association with eight regionally-based leagues, and a national champion crowned at the end of each season, through a Tournament of Champions.

Agree on both points. After skipping OOTP 12, these features might convince me to take a solid look at 13.

I'm really looking for something much more traditional with modern era real players.

Okay. Not sure why you're banging your head against a wall...there was no specification as to what you were looking for. ; )

I'm planning the league I've always wanted. I have no idea if it'll come to fruition or not, but hopefully, it can come together.

I don't know why it did that icon. I typed that on my phone. It sounds like a cool idea, just not my cup of tea.

Same here. Although ironically, the existence of iOOTP makes me less likely to buy OOTP13. I have iOOTP and had fun with it. For the past several years, I've found myself really only using the full game as a "what if?" simulator. I got more real game time out of iOOTP than I've had out of OOTP since the early years.

If I owned an Iphone I would probably be in the same boat. As a loyal Android user though, I don't have the option to play on my phone.

I skipped 12 since I didn't have time to play. Pre-ordered 13. Hopefully I get to play....
