(Official?) Draft Thread/Watch Party

Actually, I'll be heading out soon so I guess I can't do a whole lot but I'll kick it off.

I was afraid the Bengals would take 15 mins after Tagliabue went to the podium. Thankfully they only took about a minute. I don't think it should be that tough since they already signed him to a fat contract and all.

The Lions didn't take their whole time either, did they? That's a nice change...

Yeah, I'm curious what my Texans will do. Too bad no one wants to trade down or else I'm sure they would have done that.

Good move Texans. 3 for 3 so far (like that was tough).

OOPS! I have ESPN's draftcast on, and they put up Jason Johnson (QB) as the #3 pick for 15 seconds or so.

I dunno if I like this pick. I thought he was pretty overrated. Basically, that Miami factor. Maybe I'm just biased, tho.

Wow- only a half hour for the first 4 picks. As my girlfriend walked in and said "wow- they might only take 12 hours this year". Anyways, I'm heading out.

Well, Parcells may overrule Jones and select Kennedy...

Heh, yeah right, Jerry letting someone overrule him...

You know, the Cowboys could have a truly great secondary in the very near future. Roy Williams, Terance Newman, Derek Ross...lotsa young talent there...

Does anyone else here HATE Chris Bergman? He seems like the "arrogant" asshole type.

Sorry, kinda off topic, but since he's going to be on all day just wanted to see if I wasn't the only one who though this.

I understand his appeal. He's just too much "over the top".

A few years ago my Bergman was thinking of one of his "crazy" names for Carlos Delgado. He was asking for help on the air (I think this was the time when he was still doing baseball tonight). Anyway, my Boss called in and left a message saying Carlos "Innagodda" Delgado would be a good "fake" name. (I know it sucks, but thats not the point of this). Anyway, Bergman proceeded to use it and flaunt it. Didn't thank anyone for it, not even so much as an espn hat. I wonder how many other people's things he stole without credit. Stuff like that really bothers me.

Excuse me while I scream:

Not only do my beloved Cards trade down in the 1st, they trade down in the 2nd and lose a 4th rounder apparantly. Unbelievable...if it was anybody other Arizona.

I hope suggs, but kennedy would be okay too. I definately has to be dl. Tice says high pick must be lineman. Hopefully he sticks to that.
