Dolphins vs. Jets at Joe Robbie (It will always be Joe Robbie Stadium to me)

Not only would it be nice to knock the Jets out of the playoffs but it will probably be the last game for one of my favorite Dolphin players, Jason Taylor.

Fuck You Bill Parcells and Jeff Ireland!

Rex Ryan in his post game trash talking with a Giants player still mentioned how the Jets were going to win the Super Bowl. Go Dolphins.

Vikings clearly looking to throw the game this week with the announcement that they're starting Christian Ponder.

I really am finding myself falling out of love with the NFL and stuff like this doesn't help.

Anquan Boldin of Baltimore Ravens cleared for practice; game, too? - ESPN

This is one of the toughest SOBs in any sport, IMO. I remember that injury where he lost his face or something, and came back super fast. When he was deciding where to go, I was hoping the Steelers would get him and he could take over Hines Ward's role. Needless to say, I was crushed when the Ravens got him instead. It's turned out well (Ward still played and the young receiver corp we have now), but I am still a fan of Boldin (even though he's on the Ravens).

BEngals over Ravens, seals the deal.

But its never a bad idea to have a backup plan:

GO Miami, Go KC! Go Chargers!!

A Denver OR Raider loss coupled with the Jets loss puts us in as well.

LETS GO BENGALS!!!!!! Seal the Deal in the Jungle baby!

Hines Ward will, without a doubt, have at least 5 receptions today.

The most likely scenario is the Steelers start Ben, and only dress 2 QBs.
After tweaking his ankle, Ben gives way to Charlie Batch, who is injured on the next play.

Ward, a part time QB at UGa, is put in at QB...and proceeds to throw 5 consecutive passes to himself. After the game, he says nobody ever gave him a chance to play QB in the league.

I don't think the Colts will lose though.

Arian Foster, Johnathan Joseph, Owen Daniels, Mike Brisiel, Troy Nolan, Jeff Garcia, and Sherrick McManis are apparently sitting out for the Texans today. I also doubt Andre Johnson will see much time on the field even though he's supposed to make his return today. Titans should win this one.

Eh, it wasn't the best call ever but it certainly wasn't bogus. The late hammer bump as they went for it looked worse in real time than it did in slow mo.

With that defense the pats aren't going far anyway, so just enjoy what you got

Heisman winner Robert Griffin III of Baylor Bears to enter NFL draft, sources say - ESPN

The Indianapolis Colts have spent significant time evaluating Griffin on tape and in person and have been impressed enough to make the Baylor star their future quarterback without regret of losing out on Luck, should they beat the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday and end up with the No. 2 pick.

GO JAGUARS!

It's painful how much the Vikings gameplan on offense is built around making sure Ponder doesn't have to throw more than 5 yards downfield.

Most teams would be alright with a 21 point lead at any point in the game, but between the Bills natural tendencies and the Brady factor anything can happen.

Go Bills. Go Bengals. Go Steelers.

I'm a big Miami fan today. I'm almost certain either Oakland or Denver will lose, so I am hoping the Fins help insure the Bengals chances at a postseason berth.

Green Bay up 10-9 in a game they have nothing on the line. If Detroit can't break the streak here, I have little hope for them in the playoffs.

Not able to watch the game here in Chicago, but do the Lions really have anything on the line, either? I know that they can be the 5th instead of the 6th seed with a win, and I know the NFC East winner will be an easier game than the Saints or 49ers, but is that really worth much?
