OT - Almost Shameless Self-Promotion
Since I've been a member of this forum since lurking around the old Sideline, I thought I would take this opportunity:

I'm the first member of either side of my family to get a Graduate-level degree. It's a really great feeling. And still, the FOBL is definitely my life. Last edited by NoMyths : 04-24-2003 at 05:36 PM. |

pfft, fine arts? That's not a real major.
Just kidding, congrats. (Shameless self-promotion) My girlfriend is about to get her masters in psych and then is heading to La Salle for her PhD (or PsyD, forget which one). So very soon, I'll get to say I've fucked a hottie with a graduate degree. It's a really great feeling. |

Thanks, guys.
hehe sabatoi Although, for those who are unfamiliar with an MFA: it is a terminal degree (like the PhD). One can become a full professor with an MFA. |

I don't want anything with "terminal" in the name. As a matter of fact, why in the heck would they name the place where you get on a plane "terminal?" |

I think it's because we're supposed to starve to death after getting one.

I agree with GrantDawg, anyone who pursues anything that's labeled terminal is insane.
And the fact that a masters in fine arts is a terminal degree just furthers my point that fine arts is not a real major. I mean, if there's not enough to your major that they can make a proper PhD program out of it, it must be easy. So exactly what do you plan on doing with your degree? Sell it for some smack? |

Great job, NoMyths.
May you never be mentioned in the same breath as Nicholas de Genova.
