Talking I'm dying ova heer because of Family Guy

Watching Family Guy on Cartoon network. The one where Peter goes to a woman's camp and gets brainwashed into acting like a woman. The part where he tries to breastfeed Stewie was a riot !

F'n funny !

They have them all over the place down here in Best Buy. Thought about picking it up but I can get them for free on TV. I'm a cheap bastard I am.

Someone brought his up in the other Family Guy thread a few days ago, but I just can't stop laughing when I think of Kool-Aid man busting through the courtroom wall yelling "Oh yeah!"

I'm a bit of a cartoon aficianado, and I have to say that Family Guy, IMO, ranks right up there with Seasons 3-8 of the Simpsons. That show is just funny funny funny. A lot of people have difficulty getting into it, what with the absurdist humor and the fact that many jokes go long. An example of the second is in 202 Da Boom: The fight between Peter and the Chicken Mascot. It's like a two minute joke. But it's probably my favorite Family Guy moment.

Other cartoons I'm watching now are pretty much all of them.

It took me years to get into King of the Hill, but the character development is superb.

South Park will put out a terrible episode every now and then, but no one does satire as well by far.

Futurama I enjoy more than the current Simpsons. I really haven't watched Simpsons for two years. I grew up with it, and now I've let it go.

Finally, Home Movies, which used to have FG's Adult Swim spot. This show was seriously funny, but Coach McGurk is a riot. Check it out if you get a chance. Looks a little like Dr. Katz.

I'm a little peeved about this. 11:30 PM used to be Home Movies everynight. Now it's the Family Guy. Although I do like the Family Guy, if I wanted to see it, I could just go out and buy the DVDs. With Home Movies, when Cartoon Network plays is the only time I can see it...

dola,

Coach McGurk is one of my favorite cartoon characters ever. Every scene is a classic.

"We lost today. Because of you, not because of me or the way I coach. That's my pep talk."

"Life sucks, Brendon. That's your lesson. Go enjoy it. "

"Brendon there's nothing wrong with lying to women. Or the government. Or parents. Or God. "

I liked when he advocated Brenden running away from home. "Sure, I did it. Builds character. Got as far away as the pizza place on the corner. Lived there for ten years. Then, I brought my new family home to dinner with my old family."

A huge part of it is the delivery. The guy is so deadpan, it's great.

Now that I've gotten the Family Guy DVD, I'm itching to see one of my other favorites that went to hell before it's time - Duckman. Is that on one of these 649 DirecTV channels I don't watch?

They play it (Duckman) really late at night on Comedy Central. I think Sundays and Wednesdays, but that may be wrong.

I dunno. Haven't seen that in years.

FYI, The guy who did the voice of Dr. Katz is the same who does the voice of Melissa's father in Home Movies.

Mila Kunis of That 70's Show does indeed provide the voice of Meg. I think they had someone else originally, but switched to her.
