OT - More violence from fans

Apparently a fan at today's game in Oakland threw a cell phone at Carl Everett. When is this crap going to end? Why can't these fans pony up their money and enjoy the damned game? Yeah, heckling the other players, the umpires, etc. is one thing and part of the fun. But to resort to violence. I hope they start throwing these idiots in the slammer and punish them to the full extent.

Someone should have thrown a crate of cell phones at Carl Everett last year. He should have thought about it for a minute and beaned Chan Ho Park and do us Ranger fans a favor.

Sad thing is.. I think Texas was thinking of signing that guy who threw the cell phone to pitch for them.. probably the best arm they've seen in the past few years

Carl Everett and A-Rod lead the American League in homers and even Rafael Palmeiro is forth but the Rangers are still 7-11.

The Rangers can sign the cell-phone-thrower, and the Cowboys need to sign the guy that tried to take on the ump. The ump threw him off, but that is still a better block than Flozell threw all of last year.

I heard on the radio during the game today that Carl Everett is pressing charges on the guy. I wonder if I can press charges on Carl Everett for impersonating a baseball player last year.
