Quick CM4 help

Hey all,

Just got my copy of CM4 (Used gogamer.com, quick turnaround btw) and I remember reading somewhere about a couple changes that can be made to one of the .ini files that change the way the players behave...checked on the si forums, but couldn't find anything of too much use...any help guys?

Thanks in advance,
BFleming

"ARSE"
"BIG_BALL"
"GROUND"

Make an Init.cfg file and put it in the Data directory for CM4. Leave the quotes in also.

Arse does the scout stuff, big_ball makes the ball look better, and I can't remember what ground does? Think it makes it possible for teams to change grounds?

Ground gives a chance that a team can move stadiums.

GROUND - There are also some other config words which you can use for setting up custom leagues etc.

If you're interested then to find out more about these I'd suggest taking a look at the hints and tips file I've done on sigames.com.

Marc posted a link to the RTF in a thread a couple of days ago. I'd, umm, do a search on his Member ID and 'Hints' or something like that.

What does the ARSE command do? (I'll check the SI boards but it may be faster here...)

Lets current players who are jerks behave like, y'know, jerks. Otherwise, you have to wait until the current crop of players goes away before they can, ahem, themselves. Scouts will also not say negative things about current players, I believe.

You can also see your chairman's stats with the ARSE command.

Hey guys, I just got CM4. I just downloaded the "enhance" patch or whatever it is off of the Eidos site. What else do I need to get this game up to speed with the latest add ons. I also am very confused about what this ARSE, GROUNDS etc files are all about. Where are they at? I do what to them?

See Calis' post above. Search the forum for the link to Marc's Hints and Tips file.
