Walgreen's has some good soda

My dad came home the other day with store-brand sodas from Walgreen's and he swore that the root beer was the best he's had in years.

I tried it and found myself agreeing with him. We went and got one of just about every kind they had there. I still haven't tried the grape or orange in the Walgreen's plastic bottles, but so far the Deerfield Trading Company Root Beer (the one my dad mentioned) and the Walgreen's Strawberry Cherry Escape are my two favorites by far.

The DTC Orange Creamsicle was a disappointment. Nowhere near as good as Stewart's. The rest of the flavors haven't left a strong impression on me, but I'd drink them again, except for the DTC Diet Root Beer, which was awful.

Oh, and no high fructose corn syrup in the DTC at least.

What about the soda of all soda's...Cream Soda?

Vanilla Cream? They have it, but I haven't tried it as I'm not a fan of it. My dad said it was kind of a letdown after the root beer, but that it was okay.
