Today's stat of the day. I think this is only from 2011 on, still happened less than I would expect.

The 2074 FOOL Classic is set! The defending champions Toronto Marlboros are back in the Classic in an attempt to repeat. They will have to get past the team that won the title the two season prior to them however, the Tokyo Cyclones.

If the Cyclones win the title, they can become the 4th franchise with 11 titles, tied for the most in league history. The Toronto Marlboros are looking for their franchises 8th title, but the second one since moving to Canada.

Between the two franchises, they have 61 total playoff appearances, 32 FOOL Classic appearances and 17 FOOL titles, but this is the first time these two franchises have faced each other in FOOL history.

One other note that might not make a difference to anyone other than myself... for those 90+ year old Toronto fans, they may remember back to the days of the Toronto Osprey and their 1981 FOOL Championship. That Osprey club would eventually become the team known now as the Tokyo Cyclones.

Just got off work. Looks like I missed a great comeback run by my Cyclones.

Congrats to Toronto for making it back to the classic again. Sucks losing in 9 games, but at least you made it.

I had a personal goal of 10 straight playoff appearances with this group, which was thwarted last season by some pythagorean madness, but I'll take this season of redemption in consolation.

Everyone on the team except for one MR guy is locked up for next year and I'll have about 10 Mil to spend. With a little playoff magic, I'm thinking back to back is in order.

Thanks Alan!

Congrats Kevin, you guys played great in the classic.

This one was dissapointing. Barrios had a awful playoffs, an error in the 2nd inning of game 9, we didn't deserve it, frusterating, but dem da breaks!

Congrats again Kevin, hope to get some revenge next season
