Anyone else heard this?
I've seen rumors floating around today that President Reagan has passed away, but haven't seen any reports to confirm it.
Has anyone else heard anything?

Foxnews and CNN seem to not be mentioning anything.

I have been to msnbc, cnn, foxnews and so far have not seen any headlines or stories related to Reagan passing.
If it does turn out to be true, may God Bless his soul.

It's probably just more message board rumor-mongering.

see, I'm not sure that's where it came from.
the 15th is when the rumors were floating. the CNN obit server wasn't found until the 16th. HOWEVER - on the 15th, a former USOC president passed away. perhaps someone misread a wire report?

That link gives some other obits. Probably kind of sobering to know that your obitiuary is already written and they are just waiting for you to pass away. The Gerald Ford one reminds me of a great SNL skit. Anyone else seen it? Where Tom Brokaw (Dana Carvey) wants to go on vacation, so the producers film him covering every conceivable story possible. They begin to do the death of Gerald Ford and come up with such openers as, "Gerald Ford was eaten by wolves--he was delicious," "A fireball destroyed France today and Gerald Ford is dead," and "Gerald Ford died today and I'm gay." |

not as sobering as knowing you're not significant enough to have one already written about you.

Bryant Gumble: Draft Dodger passed away today. And in more serious news "Mimes - Do the pose and environmental hazard?"
Connie Chung: "That story and more when we return." Peacock fades to a commercial. Bryant: I knew I never should have come back to NBC. Who the fuck is Draft Dodger? Connie: You have some spinach dip stuck between your teeth. Bryant: [yells] Can I get a menthos and a tooth pick down here?
