What's the best kind of Hamburger Helper?

I have some ground beef that I need to cook. I was thinking about making white people tacos, but I'd have to go to the store and buy all the shit for that. So I'm leaning toward just going to the corner store and getting Hamburger Helper. What's the best kind?

There is no "black people tacos". Although I suppose black people make their tacos more like white people. There's white people tacos, and mexican people tacos.

To be fair, this answer used to be correct until they drastically changed the recipe. Now, the stroganoff sucks.

I'd rather just combine velvetta shells and cheese and ground beef, instead of the cheeseburger Mac.

I've done this before, but it's not the same without the Hamburger Helper seasoning.

Four cheese lasagna is the best but I haven't been able to find it in a couple years now. Usually stick to lasagna and melt some cheese on top.

Hamburger Helper is one of the few things that I can use Ground Turkey in, and not regret that I bypassed ground beef.

And anyways, major fail on the tacos Karl. You coulda had Manwich!

I don't like Manwich. It's too sweet. I like the Lawry's Sloppy Joe seasoning. The tacos were okay. My mom makes them better than I do, but isn't that always true?

+1

I used to like Manwich, but then my wife found a recipe we like and ever since then I can't stand to eat Manwich.

As for Hamburger Helper, my favorite is the Potato Stroganoff. I can't stand that Philly cheesesteak one.

To make one taco:

2 small corn tortillas stacked on each other
meat of your choosing (carne asada [beef], chicken, and carnitas [marinated pork] are the most commonly used)
chopped white onions
cilantro
salsa/picante sauce

They are soooooo good.

I think I might try that and add a little queso fresco to it.

Yea, definitely go w/ queso fresco, any other cheese wouldn't be the same. You can also garnish with avocado, tomatoes, cabbage and a squeeze of lemon/lime if ya want.
