Free Agent Types
Does anyone know the criteria for being Type-A, Type-B and non-compensation free agents?
I am totally baffled by this. I can not see any logic to it. In FOOL-H I have 4 fulltime players (over 400 abs each of the last 3 seasons) and all are non-compensation. And then I have Bill Carrick who pitched just 80 innings last year, his only year on my team, and he is a Type-A. I scratch my head!

It is something along the lines of being in the top 20% rated players at that position for the previous two years as determined by the league's AI evaluation settings. Usually relief pitchers seem to commonly be listed as Type-As perhaps because of there being so many of them. |

I think it takes a few years to short itself out. I've thought for a few seasons now in FOOL-X it finally seams right.
