(FOFC Game) Initial Impressions (8/20 game at Post 247)
Things have quieted down again, so I've decided to run a quick game over the next few days.
The game is called Initial Impressions, and this is how it works. I will post five categories, and five entries in each category. For the category, and the entries, they will be identified ONLY by the first letter in each word. For example Category: AS DLLAL TKAR IDWTMAT ETR WTW From this, you have to identify the category and the items in each category: The sample would be: AS=AEROSMITH SONGS DLLAL= Dude Looks Like a Lady TKAR= Train Kept a Rollin IDWTMAT = I Don't Want To Miss a Thing ETR = Eat The Rich WTW = Walk This Way For identifying the category correctly, you receive 10 points. For each entry, you get five points. (so there's normally 35 points available per category). However, if you do a clean sweep (get the category and all the entries right without anyone else identifying any of them beforehand), you get a 15 point bonus. All guesses are public, and correct answers are taken off the board: Game 1: Category 1: CMQ (This Category is Rated PG-13 for Language) - Category Guessed, One Entry Left F MD IDGAD - GWTW - OFF THE BOARD ILTSONITM - AN MTFBWY - SW E IV ANH - OFF THE BOARD TNCIB - ALOTO ITKOTW - T - OFF THE BOARD Category 2: BJS (Get These Songs right, and you'll go out in a blaze of glory, if you get my meaning) (OFF THE BOARD) IML LOAP BOR KTF YGLABN Category 3: WWL (Will Smith approves of this category) (OFF THE BOARD) WE DH BTK WBH BC AT SK Category 4: USP (This group would have access to a shiny red button today) - OFF THE BOARD (lcjjdnh, clean sweep!) FDR USG LBJ DDE HST Category 5: (The Easy One): CSS (seriously, FOFC? do you need a hint here? I thought many of these would be recognizable) (Category Guessed, One Left on the Board) EWB - OFF THE BOARD PMF- OFF THE BOARD SOM - OFF THE BOARD HOT EHM- OFF THE BOARD

Question 1: BRIAND 30 Points (One Question left, if Brian D gets it, he will clean sweep the category) Question 2:A Correction to what I said earlier, panerd got the category for 10 points, and then DeToxRox gets all five entries right for 25 points Question 3: Split between lcjjdnh (Category, 3 Entries for 25 points), and BrianD (2 entries, 10 POints) Question 4: lcjjdnh gets the clean sweep for 50 points!
